This month brings a few changes we hope make NaviaCAIR easier to use: a calmer, simpler app, a direct way to bring in your records from MyChart, and the ability to capture an appointment as it happens with audio transcription. Here's what each one means for you.
Easier to use
An entirely new interface
Anyone who's accessed their healthcare information or helped someone through their care knows the feeling: the tools meant to make things clearer often do the opposite. We want NaviaCAIR to help makes things clearer — so this month we made the whole app easier to move through, with your records, timeline, and notes right where you'd expect them, so there's less standing between you and the answers you are looking for. We hope you find it easier to navigate but also recognize that we can do better. We'd love to hear where it falls short for you.

Your records
Connect directly to MyChart
If you've ever opened MyChart, you know it holds a wealth of information — and how hard it can be to find the one thing you're looking for, especially on the days you're not even sure what that is. Now you can connect MyChart and let your records come in on their own, without downloading PDFs or typing things in by hand. You sign in to your hospital's own portal first, then choose exactly what to share with NaviaCAIR — and for how long; we never see your portal password. When you're done, you land back on your home screen, where a new care event appears with the records you imported. Link it once, and your visits, labs, and medications stay current. If your portal isn't listed yet or won't connect, let us know from inside the app and we'll work on adding it. And you can always still add records the manual way — upload PDFs, scanned documents, and notes whenever it's easier.
At your appointment
Audio transcription
So much of what matters comes up in passing — in short conversations that are easy to misremember, full of details that never make it into the visit notes. We've seen how much it helps to record those visits, with consent, and how frustrating it is to scrub back through looking for the one moment something was said. Now you can upload a recording of your visit and NaviaCAIR turns it into a clear, searchable transcript you can keep with your timeline — so nothing important gets lost, and you can jump straight back to the moment it was said. We're rolling this out gradually; if you see a note that it isn't enabled for you yet, just reach out and let us know.
A gentle note: please be sure to follow your local laws around recording conversations.

We never see your portal password, and your records are never used to train public AI.
We're committed to privacy, security, and ongoing compliance as we grow.
"Please keep the feedback coming — we honestly can't make NaviaCAIR better without it. Thank you for being part of this early group."
